Kaufman Rossin Named One of South Florida’s Top Corporate Philanthropists

Kaufman Rossin Group announced today that it has been recognized as one of the top corporate philanthropists in South Florida. The firm ranked 12th on South Florida Business Journal’s “Corporate Philanthropy 2013” list, which looks at companies with the highest level of cash contributions to South Florida charities.

“Social responsibility is one of the firm’s core values and an integral part of our culture,” said Kaufman Rossin Managing Principal Blain Heckaman, CPA. “We encourage all of our employees to get involved with organizations and causes they are passionate about, and the firm supports them in those efforts.”

Last fiscal year, Kaufman Rossin Group contributed more than $280,000 to local nonprofit organizations. Firm professionals are involved in more than 250 organizations in South Florida, and the firm supports fundraisers and sponsors events throughout the year, including the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
