Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 100 firms in the U.S., has promoted Charnele Ramphal, CPA, CVA, to a principal in the forensic, advisory and valuation services practice.

Ramphal specializes in valuation and brings extensive experience to both public and private sectors. She has expertise in preferred and common equity, purchase price allocations (ASC 805), goodwill impairment (ASC 350), contingent consideration, employee stock option plans (IRC Section 409A), equity security valuations, business combination transactions, audit reviews of third-party analyses and estate and gift taxation.

She provides valuation services to a broad client base, including boards of directors, start-ups, middle-market businesses, multi-billion-dollar enterprises, private equity and hedge funds, accounting and law firms, and high-net-worth individuals. Her industry experience includes technology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, professional services, consumer products and retail.

Ramphal is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
