Kaufman Rossin designates William Byatt as director of software engineering

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 100 firms in the U.S., announced the designation of  William Byatt as director of software engineering.

As director, Byatt champions the firm’s application of generative AI, fostering both innovation and efficiency in Kaufman Rossin’s service delivery. He leads the technical team that builds and maintains all internal software, along with working on client-facing applications. He brings over a decade of professional software development experience, working at every stage of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, requirement specification, engineering, and deployment.

He is skilled in articulating technical needs to business management staff and organizing technical teams towards a common product goal by providing business requirement context. Byatt is well-versed in Agile project management, software development lifecycle management, full stack application development, and software design and architecture.
