In addition to conceptualizing estate plans, Mark provides clients with gift tax planning, trust tax planning, and estate and gift tax return examination services. He enjoys the sophisticated challenges that arise in the nonresident noncitizen and offshore trust planning regimes. Before joining the firm in 2000, he practiced estate, trust and tax law in Boca Raton, Florida. Mark is a director for The Florida Bar Tax Section, and has been active as a member of its executive council since 2002, including serving as the secretary for several years. Moreover, Mark was the co-chair of the 7th Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar, benefiting the Community Foundation, the Jewish Community Foundation, and the United Way all located in Broward County, Florida. Active in the community, Mark is the current audit committee chair and past secretary on The Miami Foundation's board of trustees.
